FAQ

What is checkt.top?

checkt.top is an image directory that organizes available public image collections into stars, categories, and tags so visitors can browse quickly without complex navigation.

How are covers selected?

Directory covers are rotated from the available dataset instead of always using the first image, so pages feel fresh while keeping the same content sources.

Why do item counts differ sometimes?

Counts are based on the dataset files and query parameters. If a remote image becomes unavailable, the page may hide it while the original count remains visible.

Do you host the images?

The website uses the image paths listed in the supplied data files and does not add generated placeholders or external stock images.

How do categories work?

Category pages group images by folder name from categories.txt, then present the collection with pagination and lazy loading for performance.

How do tags work?

Tags are read from tag.txt and grouped by tag folder. Each tag page opens the relevant image set only.

Can I report a broken page or link?

Yes. Use the Contact page and include the page URL, category or tag name, and a brief note about the issue.

Is an account required?

Browsing public directory pages does not require an account. Account pages may be used for future site features or access flows.

Why does the order change?

Stars, categories, and tags are intentionally shuffled to avoid fixed alphabetical or popularity-based ordering.

How is the site optimized?

The redesign uses lightweight CSS, lazy image loading, simple pagination, and no unnecessary external scripts.
